E-waste Collection Services (Printer)<\/h1>\n<p>Our &#8220;Express! E-waste Collection Services (Printer)&#8221; provide customers with faster and easier recycling printer services. Customers do not need to wait for the service of the government operator; we can collect the old printer at the same time as the new printer is delivered.<\/p>\n<h4>About <a href=\"https:\/\/weee.gov.hk\/en\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Producer Responsibility Scheme on Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WPRS)<\/a><\/h4>\n<p>The Producer Responsibility Scheme on Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WPRS) covering the regulated electrical equipment (REE) (i.e. air-conditioners, refrigerators, washing machines, televisions, computers, printers, scanners and monitors) is now fully implemented. The WPRS provides a convenient means for recycling and also facilitates the proper treatment of abandoned REE, turning waste into resources.<\/p>\n<h4><strong>When to make a request<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>(a) When a customer confirms Removal Service upon ordering; or<\/p>\n<p><a name=\"_GoBack\"><\/a>(b) Customers can request removal service by calling us at (852) 8203 0123 or email to <a href=\"mailto:eshop@mrprint.com.hk\">eshop@mrprint.com.hk<\/a> within 3 days after the transaction. Late requests will be deemed as no requests for the removal service.<\/p>\n<h4><strong>Timing of the removal service<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>(a) Under normal circumstances, 3 working days are required for arranging the removal service.<\/p>\n<p>(b) The old items at the customers\u2019 designated locations will be removed on the date specified by the customers.<\/p>\n<p>(c) No removal service is available on Sundays and public holidays.<\/p>\n<h4><strong>Remarks<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>(a) The removal service may be different from the delivery and installation service. The old items pending removal can be removed in advance or placed temporarily at the premises for collection later as appropriate. Customers can contact us for arrangements.<\/p>\n<p>(b) The old items will not be returned once collected.<\/p>\n<p>(c) The old items must stand-alone and be freed from other connections or obstacles.<\/p>\n<p>(d) If the old items have serious hygiene issues (e.g. rancid foods, presence of cockroaches and ants, etc.), our staff will have the right not to remove such items, and there will be no more free removal service for the customers.<\/p>\n<p>(e) Customers shall give no less than 2 working days&#8217; notice in respect of any request for change of delivery time, date, and\/or place.<\/p>\n<p>(f) In the event of a Black Rainstorm Warning \/ Tropical Cyclone Warning Signal No. 8 or above, the removal service will be suspended and rescheduled.<\/p>\n<p>(g) The company shall not be liable for any delay, suspension, or rescheduling due to traffic or adverse weather conditions or other factors.<\/p>\n<p>(h) All personal data are for the purpose of arranging removal service for the old items only and the company shall comply fully with the obligations and requirements of the Personal Data (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.mrprint.com.hk\/en\/privacy-policy\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Privacy<\/a>) Ordinance (Cap. 486).<\/p>\n<p>(i) Removal Service is provided by \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/www.weee.com.hk\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">ALBA<\/a>\u201d which possesses the recycler&#8217;s Waste Disposal Licence.<\/p>\n<p>(j) In case of any disputes, the decision of the company shall be final.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Note 1<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Printers &#8211; not exceeding 30 kg in weight; one that can be used as a photocopier, facsimile transmitter or scanner is nevertheless regarded as a printer.<\/p>\n<p>Scanners &#8211; not exceeding 30 kg.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row]<\/p>\n<\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text woodmart_inline=&#8221;no&#8221; text_larger=&#8221;no&#8221;] Express!
